No two organizations are the same, so the services I offer are built up in response to the business needs of your organization. Having said that there are a number of similarities in both coaching and training that you can see as you work from one organization to another. These are the kinds of things that can normally happen with an engagement:


  • Coaching: Aimed at increasing learning and understanding of the Agile mindset and how its practices can be adapted to your environment. I also offer an option for 
  • Training: Aimed helping people to understand the practices to use, while providing an understanding of why we do these practices.


For a specific engagement we would look to set up a specific package. For example, if you are interested in kicking of a pilot project or your initial team you might consider the following 1 week on-site "Quick-start" package:

Assessment On-site review of current environment 1 day Help understand overall approach we should take
Coaching Typically on-site face-to-face workshops on specific business issues, often with purpose built materials. TBD Package for a series of days. Potential subjects include "leadership", "role of management", "UX integration", etc.
Training Typically on-site using pre-prepared materials TBD Package for a series of days. Potential subjects include "Scrum Team Kick-off", "Product Owner", "Scrum Master", etc.
Check-up Typically on-site As needed Just like your health, sometimes a check-up visit is a way to address a number of issues at once or to work a specific onsite issue.
Follow-up Typically virtual (phone, email, etc) discussions As needed Occasionally you will still want to bounce ideas of someone as you continue with your agile journey.

Service Description Time Comments
Assessment On-site review of current environment to understand goals. 1 day Understand what the objectives for the agile / Scrum implementation are, how we will know we are being successful and what kind of obstacles / impediments we anticipate.
Training This is specific training for the team aimed at getting them kick started using an agile approach. 3 days Training uses standard materials but is modified based on the assessment. Subjects include introduction to agile and Scrum, theory and practice of Scrum / agile, and a set of exercises aimed at getting you started on your first interation / Sprint. The aim is to start using the new approach the very next day.
Coaching Additional discussions for leadership working project or organization specific issues. 1 day Additional Product Owner and Scrum Master (and others leadership that want to be involved) trained aimed at making the first iteration / Sprint a success.
Follow-up Typically virtual (phone, email, etc) discussions As needed Occasionally you will still want to bounce ideas of someone as you continue with your agile journey.
